Texta Pois binds up to three parts water. In a swollen state this texturised product can be incorporated both in minced meat, fish or vegetables and directly as a meat substitute in emulsions. Its meat-like texture and good water-binding capability makes Texta Pois an excellent basis for formed products that retain their succulence – be it after barbecuing, freezing or microwaving.
